440ng Invests In Online Video Learning Platform, DavtonLearn

440ng, a joint venture investment fund between L5Lab and 88mph focused on tech startups in Nigeria has made an undisclosed investment into DavtonLearn, an online video learning platform for professional certifications.

DavtonLearn, which was founded by Tobi Obasa and started out as an offline training company known as Daveton8020 Consulting in 2009, will officially launch in October.

“The education market in Nigeria is large and DavtonLearn will tap into the aspirational nature of Nigeria’s labour market participants who are keen to differentiate themselves in a fast growing market”, said Kresten Buch, 88mph founder and Co-Founder of 440.

In the coming weeks, 440ng, a privately backed company with investments in Jobberman and Cheki.com.ng, will be making announcement of other investments as and when they close.
