Opera provides access to free books and math materials from Worldreader and Microsoft

Opera has partnered with Worldreader and Microsoft to make free books and learning materials available through its mobile browser.

Worldreader is a non-profit organization that provides children and families across Africa with access to digital books, many of which are free of charge. With this partnership, students in 32 countries across the continent can get access to these books directly from the Speed Dial on Opera Mini.

Opera is also providing access to Microsoft Maths, an app that helps students learn independently, and help teachers keep track of skills and create better interactions with students, through Opera Mini’s Speed Dial in Tanzania and South Africa.

Through these initiatives, the mobile browser is helping to bring as many people online as possible by alleviating barriers like data limits and poor connectivity.
