Microsoft introduces instant message-like email app

In a bid to reduce the time it takes to send and respond to emails on the smartphone, Microsoft has introduced an app known as Send.

According to Microsoft, “Send is in-and-out-email. No subject lines, salutations, or signatures. Just quick, natural conversations”.

It is the latest release by Microsoft Garage, Microsoft’s in-house development team consisting of interns, employees and teams who work together to bring their wildest ideas into reality.

At the moment, Send is only available on iTunes as a free download and only works for users of Office 365 and school email accounts but plans are underway to make it available across all platforms.
